MasterCard ® SecureCode™

SecureCode is a service that helps protect MasterCard accounts against unauthorized Internet transactions by using identity information established between an individual cardholder and the Earlham Savings Bank.

We are offering this service, in conjunction with SHAZAM and Arcot Systems to improve the security of payment transactions in the electronic commerce environment. Once you activate SecureCode, your card cannot be used at a participating Internet merchant without authentication by an authorized user of your account.

You can visit https://secure.shazam.net/MasterCardSecureCodeWeb/html/SecureCode.html and enroll your card by following the simple steps.

You can enroll at participating merchants online where you’ll be prompted to create your own SecureCode prior to checkout.

After you are enrolled a window display requesting your password will appear prior to the authorization for your online purchase. This is similar to the way you are required to enter your PIN during a face-to-face transaction. After you enter your password, the information is authenticated and then the transaction is authorized.
